The July 1 mechanism has led to a complex life-or-death dilemma faced by three political forces in China. Currently, no party holds a definite chance of survival (including the central decision-making bodies), nor is any party facing an inescapable impasse (including the Xi Jinping group). Before February 2027, any party could suddenly be revived or suddenly perish completely.
